Each market has unique requirements. Now, Wi4Net has introduced a radio platform, FlexiRadioTM, that offers unique flexibility in deployment, allowing a single radio platform to be configured for specific markets. Through coverage of unlicensed spectrum (2.4 GHz and 5.x GHz) combined with coverage of licensed spectrum in 4.9 GHz (Public Safety) and 5.9 GHz (ITS), the FlexiRadio platform meets the requirements of the following key markets:

Through proprietary Wi4Net firmware, the FlexiRadio system can be configured to operate in point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and mesh (dynamic or static) architectures. Smart dynamic mesh algorithms are embedded in each radio device.

Featuring a multi-radio architecture, multiple frequencies can be supported from a single location, with the ability to separate traffic, for example operating public safety users on 4.9 GHz protected spectrum while providing public access on 2.4 GHz. Furthermore, FlexiRadio allows for a single radio design to be operated through the network, both for access and backhaul functionality, adopting software configurable channel sizes.
